Location Management Cornwall
I was approached to help with location management cornwall for the production of a short film for the National trust- first as a location scout, and later to help organise location manager and crew as necessary. After ascertaining the brief and discussion with the director I compiled a location report for several areas of the coast and the best conditions that would suit.
When the locations were decided I was able to organise a local fixer to help with location management who was able to facilitate casting as well as permissions and safety issues at the time, as I was busy with another shoot on the production days.
The production team were able to concentrate on getting the job done knowing that they had a professional, competent fixer who could liaise with local land owners and business owners.
The location scouting report included tide times, a weather forecast, sunrise and sunset and the position of the sun at the key stages of the day.
