If only I had gone for a walk- the silence in the lanes would have been exquisite. The warmth of a lit window in a family home in sharp, perfect contrast to the bleak winter blue.<\/p>\n<p>I thought of Frost&#8217;s famous poem as I took this photo:<\/p>\n<p>Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening &#8211; Robert Frost<a title=\"IMG_4576 by Lee Robertson1, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/lee_robertson\/5303637348\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5245\/5303637348_6d2c7b2c5e_m.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4576\" width=\"457\" height=\"304\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 19px;\">Whose woods these are I think I know.<br \/>\nHis house is in the village, though<br \/>\nHe will not see me stopping here<br \/>\nTo watch his woods fill up with snow. My little horse must think it queer<br \/>\nTo stop without a farmhouse near<br \/>\nBetween the woods and frozen lake<br \/>\nThe darkest evening of the year.
