This was an interesting video to make.
Neil had an idea to show his methods of working in a short exciting set of moving images to explain how he creates movement and excitement in his subjects by instigating an adventure. In this way the client, models, and crew are all caught up in a creative process that is integral to the journey.
I was given lots of footage from different media including phones and high quality camera.
When the film was almost completed it was given to musician Justin Welch who interpreted the edit into a great drumming soundscape.
The voice over is from the late John Berger and his excellent series on art ‘Ways of Seeing’.
