This video was created for Freewave Training to explain how lifeguards signal to each other. Using hands or flags these are internationally known communications between lifesavers and to other water users.

These signals are required knowledge for many awards in the SLSGB RNLI and RSLSA program, and are also worth knowing for all visitors or people living by the coast.
